Kali Freeman, MD
Dr. Freeman is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and works primarily at Lompoc Valley Medical Center, where she also is the medical director of the laboratory. She has been elected secretary/treasurer of the medical staff at LVMC and is the Chair of Quality of Care at LVMC. Dr. Freeman is also board certified in hematopathology and runs a bone marrow biopsy clinic in Lompoc. She is a regular presenter at the LVMC tumor board and serves as the Santa Barbara County Consortium for the LVMC tumor board CME program. She is also the medical director of the laboratory at the Vandenberg Air Force Base and teaches an online hematology course at UC Berkeley extension.
Dr. Freeman is passionate about being approachable and providing timely and precise reporting of pathology reports. She is intricately involved in the day to day oversight of the clinical laboratory and is available for consults to participate in the multidisciplinary approach to patient centered care at LVMC. Dr. Freeman is always excited to work with staff members throughout the medical center to introduce new ideas to better health care at LVMC and expand the patient's experience.
